Al Sultan Beach Resort ★★★★★

Very sweet and well maintained

The room was amazing - modern, clean, perfect. Had we spent the entire weened in the room it would have been a 5-star experience. The customer service was also great, all the staff were kind and helpful. However, they are let down by the food options available at the resort and their approach to their beach and pool facilities. The pool area is great, beautiful and big. The only problem is that you can hear two sets of music — the pool music and the general resort music. They could've easily resolved this issue by playing the same music on both speakers. The beach is nice, but they didn't take advantage of it well. There were a couple of umbrellas and loungers. Not enough umbrellas for all the loungers, not all the loungers had cushions, and it would've been nice if they offered drinks down there. The dinner buffet has limited options and the food is edible, but with the quality I would have paid max 50 riyals per person. It was in fact 150 riyals per person. Breakfast was included in our room fee. It was fine, except the one morning my husband's pancakes were sour and the next morning they advertised waffles, but it was just thick pancakes in the shape of a waffle. The beach restaurant where we had dinner the last night was also a letdown. We had a seafood platter that wasn't very nice. It was cold, there was meant to be calamari on it but there was none, and the general quality of the meal was sub par. Again, the disappointing dinner worked out to 150-200 riyals per person. All in all, I would definitely return to the resort for it's lovely rooms, but next time I'll bring noise cancelling headphones for poolside and go offsite/order takeout to be delivered and have it in the room.

Everything was very good

There was alot of noise in the night comming from the hall. Kids were shouting and running around and the sound echoes in the halls

The calm, the pool and the beach. Staff was always welcome. Breakfast is enough. Check in was very fast and professional by the Moroccan lady at the reception.

The bed was not comfortable for my taste.

Really i didnt try the breakfast because of limited time finishing at 10 and most who went to resort slleping until 10 so no good time for taking rest and sleeping if will get early for eating. The hall ouside rooms its noisy by the children until mid night and there familyes opend there doors of rooms and still siting until mid night.

prices are on higher for what they are offering. breakfast is ok, not like other standard hotels and resort. better go outside and get breakfast for cheap. rooms are small. location is good

The location was nice, pool was good and clean. All the staff were very friendly and caring. Food was nice and Room was clean with all the facilities.

It was indeed a Value worth stay. The reception Mr. Daniel was very helpful and supportive to our requests. Very well furnished rooms and excellent facilities.

The resort could review to add few facilities as a tennis court or a volleyball facility. Though overall Breakfast was great, it can be improved slightly for the Asians especially the Indian origins.

The staff were wonderful and friendly. The rooms were excellent.

Directions to the Hotel could be improved. There are no signage directing one to the hotel.

Clean room, nice beach and swimming pool, the jacuzzi bath was amazing and finally the hookah on the beach.

Better they replace the 2 chairs in the room with 2 seats sofa, it will be more comfortable.

The receptionist send all guests of booking to building 6 (the most far building) The staff are not helpful and neither welcome you nor say "how was your stay"!

the property was great and the location was great , the pool is great , the view for the beach is fantastic , the building

it is not right to open the beach at 9 am and closing the beach at 6 pm how is that and why ? The breakfast food is limited for Indian food , no variety of food . The house keeping is very poor Room services is very poor the Coffee cartridge is one for all stay increase the a mount and customer will pay against the room rate is high comparing by near country even the Hotel almost empty they should reduce the rate as the propriety available and the staff

Clean Rooms

For a 5 star hotel it is unbelievable that i was able to find all sorts of drinks in the breakfast buffet except for water. When I asked about it,.i was told that the water is not free!!!! That was not acceptable. Another thing i didnt like, i asked for a coffee to go in the afternoon and i had to pay for it!!! Regarding the room : the wall clock had no battery, Refrigerator didnt work, housekeeping cleaned my room everyday but didnt refill my coffee.
